As a small business, we can be flexible with the web design process, however the following 4-phased procedure suits most of our clients:

1. Consultation
During the consultation phase, we chat about your requirements. This gives you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about our business and the services that we offer as well as allowing us to get to know your business and how your website will fit into your overall marketing strategy.

We will ask you what the goals of your website are, what information you want displayed on your website, if you have any preferences for the colours that are used, if there are any similar websites you really like the look of etc.

The consultation phase can be conducted over the telephone or, if you're local, we can meet up. It typically lasts between 30 and 90 minutes.

2. Proposal
Armed with the information gathered in the consultation phase, we will create a detailed proposal for you describing what we will deliver, when we will deliver and the terms of the contract. You can peruse the document at your leisure before coming to a decision.

If you agree to our proposal, you have the option of paying by cheque or credit card (via our website) and work will begin on your website.

3. Design
As soon as we receive payment, we will begin work on designing your website. In the meantime, you will be responsible for getting the photographs and text that you would like displayed on your website to us. If you need help with this, just give us a rough outline and we will re-write it for you as part of the service.

During the design phase, we will regularly keep in touch with you to keep you up to date with the progress, answer any queries you may have and ask you any questions that we may have about your business.

The design process usually takes around a week, depending on your requirements.

4. Delivery
When we have completed the work for you, we will contact you to make sure you are happy with everything. If there's something you're not sure about, just ask and we will answer your questions and/or make alterations. Once you're happy with everything, we will ask you to sign off the project. When this is complete, we will transfer full copyright of the website over to you.
