Shore Dutton Internet Consultancy began in February 2009 as a result of founder, Daniel Dutton, being made redundant from his employment.

Daniel's background lies in the Information Technology industry, where he discovered he had a talent for designing and developing websites as well as marketing them to their maximum potential. He began working as a freelance website designer in his spare time and his hobby quickly became a passion.

After showcasing his skills on a number of website projects, he started a business venture with another website designer and salesman based in the USA. The resulting company, Lyynx, developed and sold a unique client database tailored for use in the American automotive industry. Over the next couple of years, the business grew and, due to family commitments, Daniel became a silent partner before selling his share of the company.

After a short break, Daniel continued with his passion for website design, development and marketing by freelancing under the trading name GESWEB. Much of the work came from other website designers and developers that utilised Daniel's expertise to help solve difficulties they were having.

Daniel also used this time to develop a number of projects he was interested in, such as Nunoogle as well as providing his local parish church with a top-notch website.

Due to the economic downturn in 2008/2009, Daniel was made redundant by his employers. Seeing this as a great opportunity to expand his part-time freelance business into a full-time venture, Daniel created Shore Dutton Internet Consultancy to help businesses utilse the World Wide Web effectively.
